NASA- Mid Atlantic's East Coast Honda Challenge helped put on a spectacular show as part of the weekends Hyperfest activities. The Hyperfest is NASA's feature race weekend of the season, bringing together all types of automotive enthusiasts for one big bash. From the car show to drifting, to a concert at the end of the night, the atmosphere tried to keep up with the on track action from the ECHC.

NASA- Mid Atlantic's East Coast Honda Challenge helped christen Summit Point's exciting new Shenandoah Circuit in mid-June. There was much speculation as to how the track would lend itself to racing with its snaking turns, elevation changes, and a replica of the banked "carrousel" turn from the famed Nurburgring Nordschliefe circuit in Germany. If this weekend's action was any indication of the tracks race worthiness, there is some great competition to look forward to.

All five classes of the NASA Mid-Atlantic Region's East Coast Honda Challenge rolled into Carolina Motorsports Park for the first races of the season April 30 to May 1. The weather was threatening to be wet on Saturday and it lived up to it, leaving teams scrambling to figure out which setup to use for qualifying and the race. Fortunately when it came time for the race, the sun had shown through and dried the track, setting up an exciting race with tight action from the very first turn.
